자유 IFAB에서 정의한 VAR 사용법 중 이런 문구가 있음

1. For goals, penalty incidents and some red cards (e.g. denial of obvious goal-scoring opportunity), the review may include the attacking move that led to the incident, (including gaining possession of the ball) but not a restart which began the attack.
2. --> 골, 페널티킥 상황, 퇴장상황(요컨대, 명백한 득점 상황 저지)의 경우,  리뷰는 그 상황을 이끌어낸 공격적 움직임을 포함한다(그 공의 소유를 포함하여). 그러나 그 공격을 시작한 재개점은 아니다.
